Torin Pettaway, a promising in-state defensive recruit, has made a significant decision regarding his college football career. The Middleton defensive end has de-committed from Luke Fickell and the Wisconsin Badgers football program for the 2025 recruiting class.
“After a lot of thought and considering I have decided to reopen my commitment and de-commit from the university of Wisconsin,” Pettaway wrote.
Then, in a surprising turn of events, Badgers fans learned that PJ Fleck does some negative recruiting, too, because Pettaway announced his commitment to the Wisconsin football program’s arch-rival, Minnesota, on social media just minutes later on Thursday night.
