Ezekiel Elliott could return to the Cowboys after spending the 2023 NFL season with the New England Patriots. According to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero, Dallas met with the running back and his agent to discuss bringing Elliott back.
While Elliott left the meeting without a deal, the two sides “are in talks” to get one done.
The three-time Pro Bowler spent last year with the Patriots after signing a one-year deal with them last offseason. He appeared in all 17 games for New England and rushed for 642 yards with three touchdowns.
