Ohio State coach Chris Holtmann donating $50K to Kentucky tornado relief

Kentucky’s foes are reaching out to show their support in the wake of Friday’s deadly tornadoes. Last night, Iowa head football coach Kirk Ferentz showed his support for the relief efforts and encouraged Hawkeyes fans to donate to the Kentucky United for Tornado Relief Telethon organized by UK Athletics and LEX18. This afternoon, Ohio State basketball coach Chris Holtmann did the same. Holtmann, a Nicholasville, Ky. native, tweeted that he will call the telethon tonight to make his donation. During an appearance on The Paul Finebaum Show, John Calipari confirmed that Holtmann will donate $50,000.
