The Royals made it as high as sixth on the MLB Power Rankings this week. They’re still projected to 32.5% playoff odds per FanGraphs (the White Sox are already at 0. Eesh!) They are a half-game behind the Cleveland Guardians for the division lead with the Twins crashing and burning while the Tigers struggle to put anything convincing together and the White Sox... well we already mentioned them.
Still, the team isn’t perfect. There are flaws here. It would behoove the Royals fan who wishes to remain informed to be aware of the potential pitfalls.
