Folks…what a week. Not two full days after being announced as the head coach of the Iowa Women’s Basketball team, Jan Jensen met with the media yesterday afternoon to be introduced in her new role.
Let’s just get right into it, because there’s a lot to cover, but I’ll just quickly say that there is no one better suited to succeed Lisa Bluder than Jan Jensen. I mean, time will obviously tell, but on paper, this continuation is an opportunity to continue the foundation that Lisa Bluder and Jensen laid for 24 years, while also bringing fresh eyes and new perspective into the program.
